Our clients are at the heart of what we stand for. We have built our organisation on personal and corporate Leadership qualities and we continue to work on improving our service.
My name is Amanda Tweed and I have worked in this industry for over 10 years and have gained a wealth of knowledge helping and supporting service users who have complex mental illness and challenging behavioral issues.
For over 13 years, I experienced mental health issues, substance misuse, addiction, domestic abuse, prison sentences, homelessness and I was often the victim of abuse. I managed to turn my life around and give back to my community through contributing as a volunteer in a supported accommodation HMO.
After volunteering for 5 years, I gained the relevant qualifications and training to continue working in this field. The positions I have held are; Support Worker, Personal Assistant to a Director of a Not-for-Profit organisation, Manager, Self-employed Contractor, and the founder & CEO of this company.
I have served 30 years' with the Met. Police and retired as a chief Inspector in May 2022. I ensure Redflag Wellbeing is informed and compliant with Safeguarding.
